Verses of the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones
In the Mahayana tradition it is well established that there are eight great Bodhisattvas that learned from and ultimately were liberated through the instructions of the Buddha Shakyamuni. Lama Sherab gave the transmission of the Prayer of the Eight Auspicious Ones in honor of Lhabab Duchen in 2021. This prayer was composed by the incredible scholar and practitioner Mipham Rinpoche. This can be prayed anytime, invoking the Eight Bodhisattvas to help with any task or difficulty in your life, waking or sleeping, as you give rise to a never ending flow of Bodhicitta for all beings in all circumstances.
Maitreya's Prayer
Lama Sherab gave the lung transmission for this beautiful aspiration prayer to our kula on his birthday in 2021. In the spirit of harmony, with absolute and relative Bodhicitta from the depths of your heart, engage in the actions of loving kindness toward others. You can see Maitreya before you, together with all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as you also take this vow in their presence, and live it out in each of your actions.
